Exploring the Future of Water: RH Borden at West Basin’s Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility

Last week, RH Borden participated in a California Water Environment Association (CWEA) event at the Edward C. Little Water Recycling Facility in El Segundo. Having recycled 271 billion gallons of water to date, this West Basin Municipal Water District facility demonstrates what’s possible when innovation and commitment address our region’s water challenges.

Walking through the facility reconnected us with the why behind our work. These experiences illuminate the tangible impact of our services to cities and public works organizations throughout drought-stressed Southern California.

The West Basin facility provides a compelling vision for how recycled water must play an increasingly significant role in our water security. Their achievements show what’s possible for the municipalities we serve as they tackle inflow and infiltration (I&I), aging infrastructure, and conservation through smarter systems.

We’re grateful to CWEA and West Basin for sharing their expertise. We return invigorated in our commitment to providing services that enable this vital progress. The future of water in California is being written right now—and RH Borden is proud to help shape it.
